Pool is coming along! It's time to pick out our pool water color, and my builder has given me a selection of the Hydrazzo Aquavations, which I've narrowed down to "Gulfstream Blue" and "Catalina Blue" since the style of our pool is a Spanish Revival type, so a cheery blue is what I'm hoping for. Our neighbors have a pool in "French Grey" and while its lovely, I find it very nerve-wracking because when kids are swimming in it, you can't see them in the pool over 3 feet. Our pool will be used by a lot of kids, so I want to make sure whatever I choose has clear visibility all the way to the bottom, as our deep end will be 8 feet. The "Gulfstream Blue" sample has a white background, while the "Catalina Blue" sample has a very light blue background. Common sense tells me that the whiter background would have more clarity and thus be easier to see kids in the deep end. Am I correct?
