What amazes me most is that a photographer is able to catch that moment!

Those are so telling of the fact that animals do indeed have souls and personalities. I sure hope the photographer rescued the fox.

Loved it! Where are the penguin's heads?

Those are so great. I don't think the fox needs rescuing...that's how they dive into the snow to get little rodents. I've seen coyotes do the same thing. They look like they are standing on their heads, leaping from a standstill, head first into the snow.

That fox reminds me of our dearly departed husky having a wonderful time! I recognized that marching owl too :-)

Sabbath if you look closely you can see the front penguin's head behind him - I think he's scratching! Oops, just had another look, I don't think that's his head, I think it's the wing from the other penguin.

And about the fox, that's how they catch prey in the snow.

Thanks for the fun and the penguins are able to stretch their necks enough so that the back of their heads rests on their back for a few seconds.
