I think you got it right! I have googled to see a few different ones and have come to find two possibilities: Geranium macrorrhizum ‘Album’ and Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's Variety. But I see that there are so many varieties out there. So these two may look like the one I have, it may also be another variety. I am happy to know though that it is a perennial geranium. Thanks! My "new" friend said it was a good growing perennial that wasn't fussy about location.
