I was just told by a man at Lowe's that Price Pfister doesn't make Satin Nickel, but I just ordered 5 faucets off Ebay last week in that finish. Now I need to add Roman Tub & 3 handhelds to the list. Problem is, I need these quick, so I can't go the Ebay route, I have to use Lowe's. Can someone please let me know if what the Lowe's man said is true, and whether or not Satin Nickel and Brushed Nickel are really the same finish? Even though these are bath faucets, I'm posting here because I hoped someone might know the answer to this after purchasing a kitchen faucet. Thanks!

Our sink fixtures are a mix of satin nickel and brushed SS and they look fine together. Our lights are pewter. Our drawer pulls and door knobs are antique iron. Our pantry door hardware is brushed nickel. They all look fine together. My personal preference is to have hardware and fixtures in the same color "family" - usually broken down into "silver" or "gold". However, you can mix them up if you're careful bow you do it.

Yes, I think you can mix it. I don't think you would have any problem at all doing that. ....silver is silver. ... is silver. I have a brushed satin double sink, and a shiny Delta faucet....never thought twice about it... It's silver. It works. It's paid for. LOL And your lights are not near your kitchen faucet. I have a ceiling recessed light above my kitchen sink(recessed into over head cabinets that hang down 30 inches from my ceiling)...it only came with a white square frame at the time... I have cut glass ceiling 'salad bowl' style kitchen fixtures, with shiny brass edge and middle mount to match my other ceiling fixtures in my open den. It all works to make light for my family. Shiny, Brushed, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Glass, it all makes a house. And the tax man thinks it's a castle! LOL
