Quartz Countertop that will match Corian Rain Cloud backsplash?

I wanted to a low maintenance backsplash, so decided to go with Corian Rain Cloud slab (Quartz would be too expensive).

I am now looking for a Quartz countertop that would match well with the backsplash. So far Zodiaq London Sky has been the closest but a little too "warm" compared to the Corian. I am looking for something marble-like. Cabinets are white shaker.

Any suggestions?
Any Corian backsplash/Quartz countertop that's as close to Carrera Marble would be appreciated!!!! Thanks.

gldcc....I love my Corian and yes, it's Witch Hazel. It is so smooth and warm to the touch. Nothing has stained it and we are from scratch cooks who cook daily. Red wine, lemon juice, vinegar, food coloring, coffee, turmeric, mustard...all have been on my counter at some point or other...no problems!! It really looks as good as the day it went in. We have had a couple small scratches but my husband buffed them out with a blue Scotch Brite pad...which was the main reason he wanted Corian.

Maybe consider a solid Corian if you want a marble-ish quartz. Two different marble like patterns will probably clash.

Agree that 2marble like surfaces is a bad idea. I would do a solid quartz for the countertop or you could use the corian for both.

If budget was a consideration for the Eco Cosentino Iron Ore, it will probably be a factor with a real blue granite. Besides, if you want your bs to stand out, I'd let it be the one strong blue element in the room. I'd like the Blue Volga or Blue Pearl because the blues in those are subtle and won't shout for attention. If you have the blue granite picked first, I'd want a calm bs. If you try to have too many stars in the room, then it gets noisy. We have Corian in their Rain Cloud pattern and it has a marble like vibe but it also has some small amount of taupe-ish beige. You would have to see if its soft white works with your cab's paint color. Here is a mellow pic of our counters. There is more color to them IRL but from the distance, they do look like a soft white. I am posting pix of this and linking to another one below to give you an idea of the color range to go with your tiles. You could find the equivalent in stone, but we are happy with the Corian. (try to find the seam.. even blown up big it is well done) I could also see a counter with an orange beige tone in it. That would work with the wood look floor and still pair with your cabs and bs. There are lots of durable and functional cabinets out there. I looked at and liked Cliq Studios, if you want framed. Your existing cabs are a fairly common design, should be easy to find something very close. I agree you should start out at Home Depot or Lowe's. You may find just what you want in your budget. For your countertop, you should be able to come up with a sq. ft. amount of counter space, then you can compare prices per sq.ft. Home Depot has an online countertop calculator to estimate countertops, using their selection of materials and prices. I found it very useful. Be careful that a 25" wide countertop doesn't block your doorway even more, leave plenty of room to get around the counter and through the door. I personally wouldn't like the look of mixing acrylic backsplash with quartz. As to granite, I have been told that there is more permanent type sealer available now, doesn't need redoing every year. And, at least in my area, it can be very economical, far less than any acrylic (a limited choice of stone at that low end, though)

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your input. @ aloha - I agree with you 100% on Glacier White for a more modern kitchen. Since I'm going for a more traditional look, I am afraid of a potential mistep by using white. @ happylady and writersblock - I got a quote for rain cloud at lowes, but the price difference was pretty minimal (less than $100), so I'll probably go with the local design studio if I choose rain cloud. I didn't get a quote on the other brands, but they were all pretty close in price to the corian. Since our kitchen is only 24 sq ft of counters, a few dollars per sq ft doesn't make a big impact. @pricklypearcactus - thanks for your input about the sinks. I am not wild about integrated, but didn't know what everyone else thinks. @ idrive - Do you have any pictures of your counters with undermount ss? I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures. Hopefully I can get a few pictures tonight when I get home. Maybe if you see the current space, you may have additional thoughts.

I think the cabinets are lovely and would lend themselves to many options. Are you wanting granite? other solid surface? It's a fairly neutral bathroom as is (floor and vanity) so what colors are in the rest of the house and or are your leaning towards? Also, while it;s great for pros to offer help on here, I thought the forums were to share ideas and private messaging was more for personal or unique info.

Why not use the same thing for the countertop? Have you considered stainless steel countertops? Or solid white or offwhite? Two patterns are not going to look good.

There can't be a substantial difference in the price of a Corian or estone backsplash. If you do Corian tops and splash, your fabricator can do coves so you'll have grout and silicone-free corners. You can't get any easier to clean and it looks great.

We did a 2" Corian backsplash and then tile but we did not do the cove. It is set on with some kind of glue or something holding it on. I wanted to get it coved but it was ridiculous price...I can't remember the details but it seems like it was going to increase the price by about $1,000...just couldn't justify that cost. Here's a couple pics of the 2" backsplash with tile...one while in process, one when almost completely done.

Thanks Joseph and DCward. Like to see how the tiling is above the corian. I have a similar backsplash situation behind the sink to the last photo, except, it will have to be built out about 3-4 inches for the electrical outlets, but under a sill. It is a brick wall. Not sure what they will come up with. DCward, do you still like your corian, witch hazel isn't it? I had no idea having a cove was so expensive! I go talk to someone tomorrow. Didn't mean to usurp your thread JWS. As to your question, I don't think I would put two marble like materials together either, particularly of such different "feel".
