need help choosing foyer and living room colors
Comments (6)caminnc - i was looking at 1068 (squire hill buff)but it was a little too dark. my painter lightened it up with some white and it's better. I'm just afraid it looks a little too orange or pink. I'm trying to find a nice beige color with a little gold in it without getting too orange. Someone mentioned bone white which I have in a bedroom and I really like. I was just looking for a little more color than that....See MoreNeed help choosing paint color for Kitchen/Living room/Foyer
Comments (0)Wife and I are looking into repainting the interior of our house. You'll see the paint test zones on the wall scattered around. Our house was painted by the previous owners. I just recently finished staining the cabinets and rebuilding the kitchen island. (Mind the mess in the photos!) Anyway Here's the photos. Looking to repaint the entire Foyer. I was considering painting the inside of the front door Red to match the outside... Still not sure. As for colors for the Kitchen/Living area we were looking for something more neutral in the house. The only requirements my wife has is no yellow (apparently its a couples fighting color) and that we don't paint the fireplace wall something that will wash into our white fireplace (unless we can get a recommendation for that too). Foyer is normal white builder paint Foyer front door wall is currently a warm orange color Kitchenette is a warm orange color Kitchen is Cream Family room is Cream Family room main wall is barn red...See MorePlease help with paint color selection for foyer and hall
Comments (2)Leave the foyer and stair wall and upstairs hall what it is now. As far as the dark area of the hallway, paint that one the red recommended by B.M. Sienna Red. A light, soft color will respond just as it is now, so you need a stronger, warmer color. I had an antique half Cape house and the hallway was just like yours. I painted it red (I think it was Pottery (blue undertone), but the adjoining wall was Palladian blue. The red looked great 24 hrs....See MoreI need help with a color for front and back doors in a foyer
Comments (10)I’m no help because I like the blue green color. I think it plays well with the walls. But you can try a darker color. Otherwise I like the suggestion to sand and clear coat. Your house is SO SO SOO Beautiful btw!! Absolutely amazing :)...See MoreOutsidePlaying
