installed new mother board. won't boot up. asus a7v8x mx se
Comments (4)So the problem does not seem to be the motherboard, you have a signal onscreen. Is the replacement motherboard identical to the one that failed? Did you simply pop the hard drive back in with the original Windows install on it? Do you have the CD that came with the newer mobo? (If not the drivers will be available online but expect slow downloads fro the Asus site if you use them) Have you tried putting the XP CD in the drawer and doing a repair to see if this will overcome the issues? Remember if you do this you will need to download and install every update and patch issued since the CD was created....See MoreAVG v8 Link Scanner
Comments (13)I downloaded v8 over the weekend and today was the first time I was able to tinker with it. I too chose not to allow the toolbar. As a representative of those of us who are still DUN users, I found that I could do a Google search and be to a desired link long before the little Vista eddy disappeared and an AVG generated icon appeared. The one truly undesirable issue that occurs when you disable the LS is the AVG icon located on the Notification Area sports a red alert with a white exclamation point. It is rather annoying. I was so excited about this because it will save me time and effort if I can just tell the software to do it for me. Only problem now is when I go to use it, that feature is grayed out. I used two imported designs and overlapped the two for the design I am creating. Is there something else I need to do? My software is running on the most current update. What do I do? Anybody???...See MoreI scored! 10 large planters; extra cheap
Comments (16)Betsy ~ will the Coleus Songbird be okay with about a half day of full sun? Those are exceptionally beautiful coleus. If they need shade I could put a few on the north side of the house. These steps face south. Cate ~ I will put in some filler, a brick for extra weight and either landscape bark, packing peanuts and/or gravel, to fill about the bottom 1/4 to 1/3 of the pots. Then I'll use potting soil the rest of the way. I want the soil to be 10-12 inches deep for good water retention. I tend to completely overstuff my pots, and then give them 1/2 strength Miracle Grow every week. So far this formula has given me some lovely planter displays....See Moreeld6161
