My dogs chin is red and bloody ((??

I also have some similar issue with my chihuahua under his chin just lately is red and bloody at times he licks his paws a lot we used Benadryl. Is this ok ? ! Also he did have a bacterial infection about 2. Months ago on his lip. The vet gave him some antibiotics and it cleared up wondering if this is the same thing any suggestions. Please let me know thanks
