Q for anyone who's gotten an area rug from overstock.com
Comments (4)Often times the reviews, if there are any, will address size, color, etc. I agree that if your really like the rug, order it. If the size is different from what is stated, make an argument for free shipping to return. The rugs that I have ordered have been true to the size stated. The size should not include the fringe. If the only size given is 8 x 10 or 9 x 12, that is probably the correct size....See MoreNeed opinions on an area rug AGAIN!!
Comments (27)Oakleyok: I also was wondering about a red color, maybe that's what I'm liking in the Company C rug. This Jaipur does come in red too and I can look at it in person on Fri. Parma: Yes, you do deserve a pic of the smaller version that I have in my LR. I promise to post one either later tonight or tomorrow when there's more natural light:)...See MoreArea rug too small or not?
Comments (15)Molly, from one lamp to the other, the whole width of the wall is 179 inches. My sectional is 119 inches. So, do you think a 9 x 12 would look good? I I calculated that there will still be 35 inches left of the floor which means almost 18 on both sides. Also, I was wondering that 8 x 10 would fit the sectional just exactly leaving no room for an end table or even a space between the chair and sectional for comfortable seating. Since 8 x 10 means that the longer side is 120 inches and my sectional is 119 inches, there will not be any rug space beside the sectional. I hope what I’m saying makes sense. My husband feels like an 8 x 10 would work and he hates returning stuff constantly lol..but I’m not sure. However, I’ll wait till my sectional arrives on Saturday to fully check the arrangement before I decide to return....See MoreIs 8 x 10' area rug large enough
Comments (1)Hi. Without a picture its a little hard to tell. Is this rug over wood/stone floors or carpet? If the 86" sofa is centered on the 10' side of the rug then it sounds like the bay window chairs are about 5' from the end of the sofa. Too far for one conversational grouping - in which case they are another grouping and the bare floor is fine. But if they are supposed to be part of the same seating group they ought to be partially on the rug. Maybe try the 9x12 (its ok if the sofa is all the way on the rug) and pull those chairs a bit closer off the wall....See MoreRelated Professionals
