The "Meow Mix" song

When DH goes on interminably about nothing, I don't get exasperated anymore. I sing the Meow Mix song in my head. It really blocks out everything. (Someday they will probably come to take me away and I will sit in some asylum, singing "Meow, meow, meow, meow... I like tuna, I like liver, I like seafood, please dee-liver...").

    2 months ago I would not have been able to relate ... however, the current political debate has turned into a hot button for DH, I will have to try this ...

    I read this thread originally more than a year ago. I still burst out laughing when I think about it. I can relate, my husband talks and talks about nothing. If I am watching the nightly news program he stands in front of the TV to talk about what they are talking about. Literally drives me insane, then I think of the "meow mix song" and have to bite my tongue to keep from laughing. He gets all huffy if I tell him " I'm trying to watch /hear this program", so I've given up on saying anything. ARRGH!!!
