The ones in the first shot were just typed in my photo editor when I realized I couldn't read the original labels in my photo. The labels in my pots are written on blank plastic labels that I bought on eBay. "I have to say that's the prettiest shot of the not macgregorii I've seen. It's growing very ornamentally for you - you must be giving it really good light." Thank you. It gets some protection from the polycarbonate and shade cloth on my greenhouse, but still gets quite a bit of natural light. I sometimes wonder if some Hoyas would do better outside for the summer. More light and air movement, but less humidity. I don't know. As long as they grow well and flower in the greenhouse it's probably not worth the effort to move them around. "Be sure to show us pictures if you make your own trellises. Knowing you, I'm sure they're going to put us all to shame. ;) Okay, well, at least me." Ha, don't count on it. I'm thinking of going to Home Depot and looking for some aluminum wire, or whatever strikes me, and seeing what I can come up with. I need to hurry though. My H. cv. Hello! Its a few weeks now since my last comment, and those seed didn’t quite really develop as I hoped. After the seeds dried a day, I put 6 of them in my heated aquarium, in a box permeable to water. After some time only one of them sprouted. Two weeks later I planted half of the remaining seeds in kokohum soil. Sadly no sign of live till now, nearly 4 weeks later. A week after the planting I put the last seeds in a bowl filled with tap water, and it took two weeks till the appearance of two roots. And just now, after nearly three weeks, two more appendage are showing. :-) So some of them really are growing, but the success rate of the seeds seems modest. In the meantime, I planted the first seedling in Soil and it looks strong and healthy (knocking on wood). It’s a delight watching it grow. So it is possible to get seeds from cut flowers, but… I think I have to learn a bit more about how to do it best. I have bought a new cut flower a few days ago… :-)

I would pot it horizontally so that the roots it already made are all in the soil. The faster it gets established, the stronger it will be.

Thanks ladies. So glad you saw this Denise, as it just wouldn't have occurred to me to try that. Was given to me in the bag, & I just opened it & blew into the bag a bit maybe once a week. Guess I figured I'd go by whichever rooted first. So ,,, cool idea, thanks.
