Cracks in newly installed granite at sink cutout corners

We just had granite installed last week - it is bianco montanha from Arizona Tile - 2cm with 4cm edges. The installer is through my
contractor (not big box places) . It is a very pretty light colored granite. I
do not know how the sink was installed but there seems to be some sort of
horizontal metal bars under the sink attached to the cabinet – it is a not a
HUSH system. Tonight I just noticed that there are hairline cracks at the right
sink corners at the front and back (I didn't notice these last week right after the install) . I have a big rectangular sink cutout but
there is at least 3.25" of granite across each of those areas. I can feel
the unevenness and see it when I look at it from the side. I tried to
photograph it but it just doesn't show well. I don't think the counters were rodded.
The front edge was built up another 2 cm and I never asked the fabricator about
rodding. The sink was plumbed and the back splash tile went in today (not
grouted yet). Of course this is a big long run between 2 other pieces of
granite. The fabricator is coming out tomorrow to look at it - I'm obviously
rather upset.

Above crack at the front of the sink. Pencil & pen points at the crack.

Another crack at the back that is hard to see, but it can be felt.

Any idea what could be done? Why would this have happened after the install?
