Bidet/washlet/advanced toilet seat questions
Comments (8)I'm close to choosing my first toilet seat bidet. I'm considering these: BB BLISS 2000, BB 1000, SWASH 1000, COCO Bidet 9500RS, Coway BA13, & TOTO 300 (with or w/out the 'e'--electrolized water, supposedly more sanitary). 1 Do I really need to buy an elongated toilet?? My toilet is round, & frankly, it feels nice and comfy to me. Mostly it's only myself, and sometimes my 4 yr old grandson, who'll use this toilet. Some say the round tsbidets are too small. 2 Does anyone have an elongated tsbidet on a round toilet? 3 Has anyone put a white tsbidet on a beige toilet? (Some tsb only come in white, so of course my toilet is beige!) 4 I'm wondering if the "Far Infrared dryers" offer better drying; if they're better than just warm air dryers for people with various 'unmentionable' problems; or if it doesn't matter at all. Or maybe they're all far infrared? 5 Some have a 'Splash Guard'. Do tsbidets squirt water (clean or yucky) from below the seat? Thanks for any guidance!...See MoreSleek toilet, fat washlet seat: what would you do?
Comments (7)The ADM is 15.5" wide, which is the same as the Toto S300. I suppose I could be happier with the E200, which is 14.5", but I'd have to spend hundreds of dollars more and that starts to sound like I'm a little crazy! The ADM gets good reviews, and looks pretty much like the rest of the bunch in terms of shape, thickness, etc. I probably would get used to it, so it's good to hear you did, mongo. qt3 - Were you considering buying the Neorest? Those are gorgeous, and I imagine it would be pretty expensive to replace a seat. I'm talking about a mere washlet seat - and one that cost me only $150. Still, if I can't deal with it, I should just return it before I start using it. Sigh....See MoreToto Washlet vs BioBidet vs Brondell Swash
Comments (40)jimrin: "I'm thinking of getting the Inax Clessence CW-H230-RW (for round toilet seat), which has the control panel attached to the side of the seat, for my mom. However, I cannot find any documentation which says that the spray can be oscillating (automatic movement of the position of the spray back and forth). Does their bidet support that?" The Inax Clessence does not have an oscillation feature. I do not know whether the R-series or L-series Inax seats have that option. The specific model of the two Toto Washlets that are installed in our sister and bother-in-law's home in Kamakura does have that feature, and, being the curious type, I have given it a couple of test drives. Not a feature that I would use even if we had it on ours at home. To be fair, the trial was not apple-to-apples or oranges-to-oranges, because the angle of incidence of the spray from their one-wand Toto Washlet is much closer to horizontal, and the angle of incidence of the spray from our two-wand Inax Clessence is much closer to vertical, than the other. Perhaps I would have liked the oscillating spray more if it were incorporated in a more vertical spray; it is difficult to speculate....See MoreWhich washlet did you buy for your toilet?
Comments (9)I bought the SW844 about 7 months ago and really like it. Im disabled and bought it for need more than just a luxury and I could not be happier. The one I have has the remote control, I highly recommend that, has the energy saver device so you can save power on heating water, the soft close seat, oscillating water supply...man all I need is an MP3 player and a flat screen TV in there and I could just stay. we ran the power cord down behind the toilet drilled into the vanity and brought the cord up and out of the vanity right at the GFI plug next to the sink, its hardly noticable. Its a real conversation piece when I have company also..LOL...See Moregrannysmith18
