horrible air quality concern
Comments (4)Actually, bad air quality for humans is good air for plants...the burning of vegetable matter not only produces carbon monoxide (equal to car exhaust), but carbon dioxide (equal to what humans produce) the plants in return produce oxygen!!! Put them outside, they'll thank you for it......See MoreLee Industries Sofa - Quality Concern
Comments (4)I took delivery of a Lee Industries sofa and love seat a few months ago, these came directly from Lee, not C&B, if that makes a difference. My pieces/frames seem rock solid. No creaks etc. I didn't perform any "tests" on them, but my furniture store does their own quality checks before delivery and they said they rarely have issues with Lee and have sold hundreds & hundreds of them. That said, I did an issue with the seat and back cushions being under-stuffed. However, between the excellent customer service my furniture store provides, and the apparent willingness of Lee to stand behind their product, we are well on our way to a resolution. Although I was disappointed that there was an issue, I am still very happy with my sofas! They are the most comfortable I've ever owned....See MoreRadon in water
Comments (5)Radon isn't much of a water quality concern....more so air quality. The EPA has actually dropped the proposed Radon MCL for water for now. Radon is decay product of Radium, which is a decay product of Uranium. Both are regulated drinking water contaminants. I'd check these analytes out and then determine if the radon air quality is acceptable. P.S. if your really worried about Radon in the water let it chill in a pitcher, radon readily off gases....See MoreColorquartz quality concerns
Comments (11)It's usually no more $$ than reputable quartz! All quartz is essentially cake batter, stirred and produced. Some are very consistent, others not as much. I just wouldn't do honed. Even Caesarstone had issues with it. Especially in gray tones. The only reason they hone, is to suck in folks who would want concrete without the maintenance Nothing will ever stain a soapstone. You can sand a ding. You can seal "unenhanced or enhanced. My client has unenhanced, so the stone retained it's paler shade. Mineral oil would deepen it by a lot. But it would also enhance the veining. You can find slabs that lean gray,.....blue.......green. Go to a stone yard: ) It will either be a love story or it wont. But I would rather have a wrinkled Belgian linen shirt, than a polyester microfiber with a stain. lol Only you can decide [https://www.houzz.com/magazine/soapstone-counters-a-love-story-stsetivw-vs~27991463[(https://www.houzz.com/magazine/soapstone-counters-a-love-story-stsetivw-vs~27991463)...See MoreLantana zone 5b/6a
