Help choose the wood floor tiles to go with my two-tone kitchen
Comments (20)Hmm. I'd sleep on it. See what bugs you more/draws you more. Go with your intuition. Put it in different spots. Look at it in different lights-morning, day, artificial lighting. Stop looking at them for several hours-and then look some more. Not easy I know. I choose my current flooring for a week minimum..gosh I was so silly I even took it next to my face and looked at both of us-me and floor sample lol-in the mirror..to see whether it flatters my complexion)) In the end I chose well, I love it. I'd say I love it madly. But to tell you the truth-if I picked something else, I'd probably like it too..) Because most of all I loved some flooring that we ordered-and were told it was discontinued. I had to choose again. I was so upset! Fast forward six years-I don't even remember what that first love of mine was.....See MoreHelp Needed in Choosing Tile Backsplash for Kitchen
Comments (2)Agree. I wouldn’t bother investing more into this if you’re just trying to make it more appealing to sell. The new buyer might want to do more, removing the new backsplash is just one more thing they’d have to do! Just update the pain colors!...See MoreChoosing Luxury Vinyl Tile for Orange Oak Kitchen/Dining Room
Comments (7)Thank you all for your suggestions! I am loving the earthy slate tiles. The parquet flooring is beautiful, but somehow it reminds me too much of the hardwood covering the rest of our home (very thin boards, maybe?), not sure if I'm making any sense at all anymore! I'm hoping to install the LVT myself after much more research, but I wonder how you'd go about peicing together those those color variant slate tiles without it looking a mess... hmm!...See MoreHelp me choose kitchen floor tiles
Comments (4)I like Linz's suggestion. A lighter gray with lots of variation. Even the showroom floor is almost there! But style matters a lot here. That hex tile is sort of rustic or old-timey and could look weird in a slick modern space....See Moremgmum
