ANOTHER Sunrise vs Marvin quote Michigan
Comments (26)We went with the Triple pane apex package (ultra-u plus8). We're in MN and suffer from both weather extremes. The windows are not yet installed, they were just ordered after before the Christmas. We are actually just doing two double casements first and will live with them for a few months before purchasing more. i want to make sure I truly like our windows before committing another $20-30k for the rest of our windows and doors. Yes, it cost more doing it this way, but I'm ok to pay a bit more to ensure I'm happy....See MoreMarvin vs Milgard insert replacement fiberglass windows
Comments (1)The Infinity is a better product as it stands right now. It is my understanding that the Milgard is due for a re-design but I will withhold judgment until I see that window....See MoreReplacement Windows - Vista Panorama vs Sunrise Essentials
Comments (7)pretty much any and every window regardless of quality will have low-e and argon, so I would not use that as criteria. The performance ratings that are achieved by those and other features will be a bit more telling. U factor and air infiltration are two biggies... I dont have a huge problem with the Vista other than that it is pretty mediocre, just that you can typically find a better performer for a similar price. The Sunrise line is very good from the base unit "Sunrise" on up. The Essentials is a price point model that I'm not a fan of....See MoreOkna vs Sunrise vs Marvin

The Verde is a great window as well, but the Okna will best it both thermally and structurally (better u-value and air infiltration). On white windows surrounded by dark trim, that is really going to be a personal decision. In my experience, if someone is open to the idea and does not object to even the thought of it, they typically end up loving it as it can really brighten up the room/windows....See MoreNicholas
