My 'osteoarthritis' in my fingers has been now Id'd as 'pseudo gout' and am on probenecid/colchicine tabs. which now seem to help. Has anyone taken this drug & had any side effects from it? I guess pseudo gout has been re-named as the crystals formed in the joint are different from the real gout!

Hard to understand how an Orthopedic specialist miss-diagnosed it but now a rheumatologist saw the X-rays & said it was 'pseudo gout' (said it is now renamed though!) instead of osteo arthritis!
