Is this kitchen flooring?

We are planning to put quality vinyl flooring in our small kitchen. The flooring has to be compatible with the neighboring flooring (honey-colored wood laminate), white kitchen cabinets, black granite counters and warm yellow walls. We had a difficult time deciding on something that would work with both warm/cold color temperatures. We liked these two flooring samples....especially the honeycomb patterned design. However, we couldn't help but think that these were probably designed as bathroom flooring. Will either of these work in a kitchen? Thanks so much for your help!

Technically both will work in a kitchen (if it is rated for bathrooms, it can handle a kitchen). The hex tile presentation would be VERY busy and might look odd unless you have a 1880's Victorian Kitchen (complete with wood burning oven/stove).

For me, the second photo with the larger tile with diamond inset is more likely to look at home in a kitchen. It is a personal preference, but still one that has to look "right" in the space it is installed into.

Good luck. The hex tile would look pretty cool if you have the kitchen that can handle it.

My sister used a similar tile in her kitchen and it looks fabulous.
