Only grow The Endeavour, so can't compare. Jubilee Celebration's caught my interest repeatedly, but I've yet to encounter it in person. In the 2016 USA Austin catalog, The Endeavour's been moved to the Supplementary English Roses list, page 56, which seems to precede dropping a rose from availability, while Jubilee Celebration remains with the general offerings on page 29. Since a full page photo of massed Jubilee Celebration appears opposite The Endeavour listing, I'm best guessing The Endeavour is scheduled soon to be "superceded" by JC. It may be one of the roses Austin's requiring be dropped as a condition of continued licensing. My original was purchased locally as a grafted & potted Weeks' rose some years (8?) ago. The graft showed signs of punking out two years back, following a typical lifespan of Huey grafted roses in this garden. Unwilling to do without TE, ordered a gallon own root then from Heirloom, who no longer carries it on their website. (Dug & deep potted the failing grafted to encourage own rooting in hopes of saving the scion & luckily that worked. Grows equally well own root here.) I'm continually wowed by The Endeavour, rating the fragrance an 8 out of 10. Rapid repeat bloom continuity, each flower lasting well with multiple shadings that morph enchantingly from bud to petal fall, as if a new rose each day. The blooms open on the salmon side of coral pink, with tints of amber & apricot that increase as the flower expands & then becomes overlaid with lavender, unique & exquisite. Tend to be larger here than HMF's average, easily 4-5", though the bush has only grown 3.5' tall & wide without pruning. Short, thin thorns, sparsely spaced, so good near a walkway where it doesn't snag passersby. Powerful fragrance to my nose, like a fine French perfume, rosey with notes of narcissus & sandalwood & hints of gingery cardamom. Nose deep in a blossom, feel suspended in time. Parentage listed as seedling x seedling, suspect Aloha '49 somewhere in its background. Rarely spots on lower leaves only & when those are removed, new ones grow back cleanly in this no spray hot & humid garden. Appreciates a bit more in the groceries department, loves the heat of Summer yet continues to bloom in the cool days & cold nights of Autumn, petals unfazed by frequent rain (though nod when soaked), grows in a graceful leafy bush form. Semi glossy leaves, not the matte that HMF reports.

I'm getting it too come bareroot season. I smelled Jubilee Celebration a few times this Spring at the nursery and I get a rubber tire note I didn't like; however, to be fair it might have been due to pot culture. The Endeavor is not available in the UK, I think it started off in Oz and ended up in USA. Carding Mill isn't available to Brits either, but we don't get Summer Song or it's color sport...

I have both.

TE makes a well mannered short climber against a low fence. The canes are 6-footish and very lax. It blooms and repeats pretty well.

JC is a short-ish rounded shrub with a twiggy habit. It blooms and repeats quite well.

One thing about TE is that it has been extremely vulnerable to black spot in my garden. Southern California is not known for being a black spot heavy climate, but this one sure does in my garden unlike every other rose. This vulnerability, I have been told, is why it was not released in the UK.

Neither has much fragrance to speak of. They are both in the yellow-to-coral pink blend color range.

My JC was new last year. This year it grows long canes that flop over. Not too impressed. Hopefully it will do better next year.
