A bathroom exhaust fan should be sized to provide a complete exchange of air in 15minutes (4 air exchanges per hour). To compute the fan size you begin by computing the total volume of the room, length x width x height. You stated your bathroom is 5x7 and assuming an 8ft ceiling we get 5x7= 35sq.ft x 8ft height equals a total volume of 280cu.ft. We want the fan to exchange the air four times per hour so we multiply the room volume by 4 to determine the total volume of air to be moved per hour. 280cu.ft x 4 = 1120cu.ft/hr. Now divide the total CFM/hr by 60min/hr to determine the required CFM of the fan. 1120Cu.ft per hour / 60min per hour = 18.66cfm. The purpose of the fan is to insure we remove any residual water vapor in the room after you finish your shower. For optimal performance you should have a fan switch that has a 15 minute delay on break. With this type of switch the fan will start as soon as you turn the switch on, but when your leaving the room you turn the switch off and it will continue to run the fan for another 15 minutes causing one more air exchange before turning the fan off, thus it will provide a maximum reduction of moisture in the air.

Callieandkarin, yes my boys are big and DD#1 has a male and he's even larger. My girls are a little more petite in the 15 lb range. I love ragdolls, once you have them you can never go back. They are so dog like that they were more of a dog than my actual dog,. LOL They used to beat the dog in run and fetch the ball and she was annoyed to say the least. The girls used to turn on the tap every day to help themselves to fresh water drips- I had to wrap towels and stuff around all my taps for a long time to break them of this "habit". they also are constantly going around the house and opening drawers - or maybe that's the resident ghost? Kren pa - yes I think they do love the sink because it's cool. I have 4 cats - that's my limit - so sometimes they go into the bathtub or shower.

The toilet "cubby" space is a bit over 40" wide. The tall cabinet is 48" tall (excluding countertop thickness), about 15-16" wide, and 33-34" deep. As to the two pullouts, the top drawer is wired for electricity, my wife keeps hair dryer/curling iron, etc, in there permanently plugged in. Although the cabinet is 30+ inches deep, I have a false back in the upper part with a hidden chase behind the false cabinet back. The rear compartment gave me room for running the wires and installing the junction boxes for the outlets that "power" the drawer's contents. So the top drawer is only about 22" deep. The taller bottom "drawer" is indeed sectioned vertically, it's more like a pull-out pantry. On the side facing the sink, the shelves are maybe 4-5" deep, think of it as a medicine cabinet. Small bottles, etc. The side facing the toilet, the shelves are deeper, 5-6", deep enough for rolls of TP, cleaning supplies, etc. I have the bottom pullout on 30" full extension slides for easy access. I don't know about build.com. I think that people on this board have used them. Why don't you search and see what you can find out? You can try International Bath and Tile in San Diego. They have a big showroom and their website is plumbtile.com. I used them and got a lot of really good customer service help. There was a particular woman named Terrie that I used. She was extremely knowledgeable. Their prices were great. You get the best of both worlds--good prices, customer service and a place that actually has a showroom. IBT was really reliable. When I had a problem with a few items, I got return authorizations quickly and replacements arrived right away. Even for a little thing like a TP holder set screw!
