Help! What is glued to my Golden Pothos leaves?!

I've recently noticed that a lot of my golden pothos leaves have these tiny black dots with white center glued on them. Some others have elongated brown stuff glued on them. They're only on the leaves. Here are a few photos:

[EDIT: Just found out that the black dots are shotgun fungus. Any ideas about the brown spots though?]

Note: I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dhaka has a tropical wet and dry climate. The city has a distinct monsoonal season, with an annual average temperature of 25 °C (77 °F) and monthly means varying between 18 °C (64 °F) in January and 29 °C (84 °F) in August.
