Meyers inside for winter, suddenly leaves turned yellow
Comments (13)I usually don't let them wilt/curl up, but it does happen on occasion.. as far as sunlight, they have the grow lights on them, and have been doing for a while, but starting yesterday I have opened the blinds up to let them get sun, greener leaves don't come off easily. As far as curling/curving, some are flat, some curve slightly downward, and some curve slightly upward, but there are quite a few leaves that droop down from front to back. I think I'll focus on getting them more light, and less fertilizer, in the back of my head I was kind of thinking the fertilizer might be part of the problem, I only got it in November, before that I used the fish poo, but they hadn't had any in months, so I was probably overfeeding to make up for it lol...See MoreTomato leaves turning yellow overnight
Comments (5)hard to say for sure, but my guess would be just some over-watering with the rain. its usually a good idea to remove some of the lower branches especially those that are touching the ground. helps reduce the chances of picking up some soil-borne disease and improves airflow......so just prune those branches off. also in time the bottom leaves do go yellow as they get less sun and the plant transfers nutrients (nitrogen, magnesium) from the older parts of the plant to the growing bits....See MoreWhy are my tomato plant leaves turning yellow and dying?
Comments (3)It is possible you have Early Blight. Mine do the same thing. They will be fine until the first full day of high heat and humidity then it just explodes. The first thing to do is get all the bottom leaves trimmed off - I've read that it is fine to take everything off at least the first foot of your plants and even up to 18". Get them in the trash then wash your shears and gloves with bleach. This will help stop the spread. Copper fungicide or Daconil sprays, or Epsom Salt drenches are usual recommendations. I usually start spraying mine about 2 weeks after planting. Good luck with yours....See MoreThe lower leaves on my tomato plants are turning yellow Help!
Comments (3)it looks like it’s not in a container so assuming the soil is well drained overwatering shouldn’t be an issue....See MoreTobor
