Not sure if you are checking further here for answers......There is some good advice here but I do not believe in looking at whether someone has a large enough insurance policy. YOU are responsible for what you choose to eat or drink, and YOU are responsible for making an informed choice. I don't understand the "sue mentality". If you need to think that way then the farm in question isn't the right one. Tour any farm you are considering doing business with. Ask tons of questions. The farm and animals should be spotless. I mean 100% spotless. Ideally the cattle should be 100 % grass fed, with fresh pasture rotation on a daily basis. For a couple of months in the winter the cows are fed high quality hay. At all times the cattle are fed balanced minerals. Tour the farms, ask questions, and decide if you are totally comfortable with the cleanliness of the farm and milk handling. Then develop a relationship with them. Clean raw milk is one of the most healthy and delicious foods, if handled correctly. Also, cows were never meant to eat grain. They are not grain animals. They are grass animals. Grain alters their chemistry, and not for the better. Factory farms are disgustingly filthy and cruel. This is where your store bought milk comes from (and store eggs and meat as well...yuck). There are more illnesses from so called inspected pasteurized store milk than from any good clean raw milk grass fed farm. I would go completely without milk before spending one nickel on a gallon of milk from the store ever again. It is revolting in taste to me. It is worth the drive if necessary to find the right farm. "Somewhat untidy" and "relatively clean" is NOT good enough. You can also pasteurize milk at home by heating it up in a kettle, if you wanted it pasteurized.

I'm not a big fan of red, but if you love that color, go for it. I don't know where you live, but Sherwin Williams will help you pick out colors if you buy (I believe) a $75 gift card. They will send a color specialist to your house. What I did was pay for an interior designer to come in and advise. She was $125 an hour, and I just needed an hour with her. She did great picking out colors and giving me advice on the rest of the house, so maybe look into that.

Simulating wood with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer, laminate is just a composite. I would not consider spending money on a laminate floor at this point. It isn’t a better solution than going with the ivory carpet for a few years. Laminate is $, but it's noisy and doesn’t like water. "Water can cause laminate flooring to swell if it gets between the seams. Being made of pressed board, laminate can easily chip--especially the critical tongue and groove sections.” Where I would spend extra money is on the padding under the rug. That will go a long way to help keep the rug clean. It isn’t the rug fibre which stains, it is whatever liquid has soaked into the pad that keeps coming back to haunt you. Spend a few cents extra and ask for Mohawk Smart Step. it has a coating which keeps any liquid from soaking into the pad. If it needs to be seamed, have them duck-tape the seams. I have a light wool wall to wall carpet. Should something spill, I grab a dry cloth or paper towel or newspaper and step on it until all the liquid is out of the rug. Then, use a combo of water and ammonia, and just dab at it. Actual dirt or mud, just let it dry and then vacuum.

This is Agreeable Gray, Extra White and Gauntlet Gray. I actually think it would be a mistake to go too much gray on the body. You will already have a gray roof. Canvas Tan is a little grayer than Patience. I would not use those garage doors shown above. They are a modern design and your house is closer to traditional. I also think the wood grain and side windows when combined with stone would look too busy. I hope one of the professionals will speak to the door as I am just a person like you. What is the name of your HOA? Stay away from Unique Gray. It is lilac color.
