Do white kitchen cabinets need to match trim and moldings?

Hi. I purchased an apartment with a renovated kitchen. From what I read, it seems that if you have white kitchen cabinets, you need to take that color and repeat it in the trimwork of the apartment. It appears that the baseboards, trim and doors have been painted in Benjamin Moore's Decorators White. I found a can in a closet when I moved in. There's an obvious stark quality to them. The kitchen cabinets appear to be warmer -- kind of a Dove White. I do like how the Decorators White make all the moldings and trim pop. Does this mean I should paint the kitchen cabinets Decorators White to keep consistency? Or is it close enough that most people will not notice?

Thank you!
