Bud Bennett's intro that are blooming so far

I know that there are many fans (pun fully intended) of Mr. Bennett's intros out there, so I decided to post several that have opened under one posting (with more to come)

Eternal Charm

Fat and Foxy

Jazz Me Blues

Once over Lightly

Beauty In Motion

Tactical Cat

Last but not least WILD CHERRY WINE. So far this is my favorite diploid. In spite of the drought like conditions, the blooms are large and consistent in performance. I am captured by its beauty in the am and pm. I love how the petal frosts out to a pale pink to near white while retaining the pink edge. I will let the following pictures say it all.

Have a great rest of the evening and morning. Can't wait to see what is opening tomorrow.

Maryl - Yes the last two images are also WILD CHERRY WINE. They were taken in the afternoon.

What a nice selection of daylilies. Bud Bennet had a way with the color pink. Siloam Melvin's Yellow looks white to me, but its got a nice wide face to it. Happy Independence day to you too..........Maryl

Those are all beautiful, David. I do love his intros, and was very sad to lose Joyful Lassie this last winter. Wild Cherry Wine does beautifully here and Salty Skipper does too, but winter was hard on Salty Skipper this year too and I would not let it bloom since it appeared so weakened. I do think Runaway Romance and Beauty in Motion are gorgeous as are Fashionaire, Cheating Heart and the always gorgeous Wild Cherry Wine. Kay

David , you can eat the clover too but they recommend boiling it . You can eat it raw but they say it tastes better boiled. The purslane is often used in salads , here are some recipes in case you decide you want to explore this "veggy" https://www.epicurious.com/search/purslane?content= It really is a fascinating plant for all its uses if it would only grow where you wanted it to . Beautiful! Thanks for sharing them all as a group... I have always loved the looks of Wild Cherry Wine, even though I'm not much for pinks. If I can ever find WCW to buy, I will be getting it. Tactical Cat is my other favorite of this group.

Wild Cherry Wine is a long string of hyperbole...just adore it!

Once Over Lightly is 25 inches tall and the bloom is 6 inches. It is registered as a mid-late, but it typically blooms mid.
