Tall weed with small white flower cluster

Hi, I'm in zone 6b. I bought a wildflower seed mix and am guessing at everything that comes up. I think most are weeds. Any help with this one? It's about 2' tall.

Yes unfortunately it appears to be Phytolacca americana - Pokeweed.

Most all "wild flowers" are "weeds". Many people buy "wild flower" mixes that contain plants not native to the area, and many "wild flower" mixes will contain many unwanted plants.

That does look just like the Pokeweed that grows in my gardens, now.

It's a Cleome, an annual plant. They don't transplant well so let it grow there if you can, harvest the seeds when they ripen (it can be tricky, they pop open when ripe) and broadcast them where you want them, they can also be winter sown. They tend to reseed heavily.

Phytolacca americana is native for you. It's just that lots of people don't seem to like it.
