Comments (9)Gazania, all my day lilies have come and gone already. I think some were eaten by the deer, but the others didn't seem to last very long. I've never dug them up and divided them. Do you think that makes any difference?? All the pictures are so good today. I always look forward to seeing them. Comments (14)I never think to photograph my ferns in a shady bed. Excuse the weeds as I haven't had time to get back to this area since early spring. First one is an Autumn Fern; second one is a new Japanese Painted fern I think last years drought got some of the older ones. And this is just a native fern I transplanted or that came up here, can't recall....See More

One had to catch up, but he seemed to be having a good time (projecting my feeling on it).
We have been visiting here every few years for almost 30 years. First time we've ever seen these here. usually we see them in Custer State Park, and didn't this year. Always a treat to see them.

Alisande, did you notice the "smiley face" in the eye of your butterfly pic of today? It's there. Here it is a little clearer in a pic of the Fritillary that I took a few years ago.

10 years agoJim, wasn't the Tampa Zoo where the orangutan recently escaped and had to be tranq'd and returned to her habitat?

I also thought Jim's giraffe looked like it was wearing a hat, but the hat was off center
