It's great you have good rebloom on so many! Rebloom here is iffy at best. Everybody Loves Ernest is really nice, I like the smaller ones.

Tender Love is such a pretty delicate late. I don't think Willow Dean Smith has ever rebloomed for me before. But I have a rebloom scape coming this time. The pattern on Dragonfly Dawn is captivating!

Lillian's Thin Ice seems to have been a stellar performer for you this year. Did Dragonfly Dawn bloom on normal scapes? I wonder if Katherine Caldwell would do well farther north.

Debra, the color of Tender Love almost mirrors that of Small World Snow Owl, so I have the "big one" and the "small one"-lucky, lucky. Glad to hear WDS has produced a rebloom scape for you. I bought Dragonfly Dawn to use for crosses and so far I have seeds with Katherine Caldwell as pod parent and Moon Over Monterey as pod parent. Let's hope for daylilies with great patterns.

Mantis, Lillian's Thin Ice in its second year is coming on strong, it's great to get a daylily that produces right out of the gate. Dragonfly Dawn scapes are probably around 30" here, not the listed 36""--I can hope it gets taller the longer it grows here. Katherine Caldwell is another one that got right to it last year when we planted it, and in the second year has really done wonderfully well. It is a semi-evergreen and a strong grower, so maybe it would work for you.

Nat, good choice for favorites, they are lovely daylilies and good growers, and that is important. Not all lovely DLS are good growers.

I am really taken with Lillian's Thin Ice...so surprising since whites rarely appeal to me. This has been the strangest year for re-bloom I have had. so many have gone through two complete bloom cycles...and I keep fining scapes sent up ...One of my earlies, Wild One, has sent up a re-bloom scape for the first time ever. Pink Gingham, Citrix, Rocket Booster, Blue Ribbon Rodeo, Spoken in Parables, and Water Drops....and so many more. I'm not even going out to photograph most days. I love Katherine CAldwell. Is it as large as it seems it must be, Avedon?

Kay, so far the blooms on KC are about the listed size of 7.5", maybe just a little smaller on rebloom, but that could be because the rain has shut off and now it's water out of the hose, and we know how that makes a difference. Of course, along with the difference in water is the difference in the temperature. The heat is on now, and with little or no cloud cover, the sun starts to do a number on our plants. I'm just glad we have had such a good bloom season this year, and two wells that will probably get a workout this summer.

WOW! Katherine Caldwell is stunning! And the fact that it is a big bloom is a bonus. I LOVE the combo of pastel pink with the green throat and just love the form. It is perfect.....and it just went to the top of my 'want' list.
