If you don't get a lot of responses here, take photos of the front of the house and post them with your question on the Home Decorating forum. There are lots of color experts and good ideas over there.

Why don't you just pick something you like? If you don't like "current colors", don't do it. Your house color is probably something you'll be living with for a long time. Make it your own. What's your base house color. I have seen beautiful color combinations with gray with blue that's not so navy and not so marine blue. I went with my own instincts about 7 years ago and had the devil of a time to get the proper color mixed with my favorite paint shop. They did it and we had a number of people knocking on the door asking about the colors. And I've noticed a number of attempts at the same color-copying in our neighborhood. Just go with your personal preference, given the geographic location of your home (IMO, that's important for the success of your paint colors). Annie

hi CC. as Flo said, please don't paint it white. Your front door welcomes guests. Make it a statement. Don't play it too safe. Why are you so afraid of 4 colours? Your home can take 4. and your colours are all neutrals. You may want to beef up the trim around your door to give it more prominence. it will add volume to the area and make it more of a statement. You might think about upping the landscape on the right. You were given a lot of good info on that area last year.

Wow - your property is amazing. I’m in love with your stone walkway. How about going lighter with the shutters to match the stone? I think that would look very classy with the cream and pine doors. Your other proposed improvements sound lovely. Can’t wait to see what you decide!
