I don’t feel that Hallmark carried as many lighter colors but def check them out. If anyone near you carries the Wicander’s Hydrocork line they make beautiful floors, too. Have some lovely light colors. Karndean makes Korlock which also has beautiful floors. And Southwind has some new ones that have a small bevel and the colors are muted. looked at these and ordered samples online from American Carpet Wholesalers in Dalton, Ga. the Timber Lodge and Prairie Grass were really pretty. I didn’t mind a small bevel but I didn’t care for the large bevel. My husband didn’t want it at all so we have no real bevel. (Also, some floors have a micro bevel which to me looks more like wood.) it’s all personal pref and I used instagram to do a lot of research on how the product looks down in real homes. The company pix always look weird and unrealistic. Let me know how it goes! Can’t wait to see what you find and what you choose:)

Don't have Apple and won't have them so only android for me. My elderly aunts in there 80's only have computers and can only learn 1 thing so Facebook works best for them. They don't have cell phones. My Mom's young grand kids can do everything. Used Facebook for years now and find it the easiest to communicate with friends plus have found some old high school chums by way of facebook. I was able to Find distant relatives on my Dad's side by way of facebook to let them know of my Mom's passing. Find it a really wonderful tool when I had to do live feeds for every one in the family at once. Can you do that with Skype? I have only ever Skyped one at a time so never looked into it since facebook had the capability to broadcast live to every one and the elderly don't have skype. Family that couldn't attend my Mom's funeral got to see everyone sing her favorite song at the grave site while it was live. I got so many thank you's for doing that so was worth it. I guess it all depends on how you like to do things online as to what you use. Mary

Instagram is a platform with limitless opportunities these days. Of course, it might be overwhelming sometimes since it has lots of details to it. But, once you understand the basics, you are ready to go. Maybe, in the beginning, you might need some help from professionals. I worked with megafamous.com, and they were very helpful. You may also try to get in touch with them and see what they can offer you. Maybe you'll become good at Instagram, you can never know. I'm sure everyone can handle it and can do a great job!

I dont know how it compares to Karhs but i know for instance costco and lowes carry Shaw (typically a high quality flooring) but its a lower grade so this may be a similar situation. If i were you i would order samples and show it to an experienced flooring expert, someone who has been in the field awhile. They will be able to tell you how stugas’ flooring compares to high quality brands. i’m sure they have the most knowledge and can sense immediately if there may be problems. I did email stuga with questions about the wear layer. So i know if you tell them about your household they can answer that question and suggest specific styles that will fit your needs. Depending on the wear and tear of your household you might want to choose a darker or rustic floor—they hide scratches better. I have a yorkie (no children) and when I did reach out to them they recommended the Shell flooring versus the lighter Greta/Fika/Moonlight shades (which would show scratches more). We have several projects going on and we are trying to do everything in the correct order. We decided to have the oak floors in our home restained so we are currently in the process of refinishing them. I’m excited to bring our 1990 mahogany stained oak floors to 2022
