West Elm white touch up paint?

We have these side tables from Westelm, and they have some dings in them. The white finish is the same finish as all the other white stuff in their store. A lot of those stores sell touch up markers or paints for their standard finishes, but I tried emailing WE customer service to no avail. Anyone have any ideas on a good match for painting dings for this line? x-posting in home decorating. Thanks!

I ended up asking in a store (duh - would have been a good first step) and they gave me one of their touch up kits that they use to keep the furniture on the sales floor looking good. I used it but honestly it was not a great product. Ultimately, I was doing some touch up painting of my wall trim and on a whim tried it on the side tables and it was a pretty close match and provided better coverage than the touch up kit.

I know this is 2 years later but did you ever find a solution? I need the same answer for candle burn marks on top of the lacquered white paint on one of their "Modern Nightstands" :)

obviously try to find out what paint the cabinet maker used. He may also touch up the cabinets for you if you ask. You can also take off one of the cabinet doors and take it to a reputable paint store and they can do a decent job of matching paint colors and styles. Then you can sand lightly where the chip is, use a primer to touch up where needed and then touch up with the newly created paint. Not much you can do about preventing any more chips other than just being careful.

I haven't seen this particular table but I have a mirror in their bone material and so I thought it might be helpful for you to see a close-up shot of it. It is definitely more cream than white.

The same thing happened to my custom kitchen cabinets. The trash pull was the worst, chipped all over. I had my contractor come back and look at it (2 years later) and he sent his (new) painters in who verified the wrong paint was used. So at his expense he took all the doors and sanded and repainted them (professionally resprayed) with the correct paint. It’s been 6 months and not a scratch to be found, and we’re pretty hard on them. My thoughts are that painting them with a brush is never going to look right, even if you somehow found the exact same paint which is next to impossible because paints and painted surfaces change over time and with use. Painted cabinets by nature are prone to chipping but if they’re done correctly (according to my contractor) it should be minimal.

Ah I see, and thanks for the response! :) Any idea what color code from e.g. Sherwin- Williams or another major paint store would match West Elm's "lacquered white" so I can just go and get some paint instead?

So funny timing on this because as said a couple years ago, I never fixed the tables, the WE touch up paint was garbage and then my trim paint was a pretty close match which did the job for a while. but I’m actually about to refinish these tables this weekend.... four years later. I since bought a little device that computes paint matches, and determined that the tables are a pretty close match to SW marshmallow or SW shell white. I haven’t used it yet, but the device tends to be accurate so good luck!

I have the West Elm Aubrey desk. It has several scratches. Not a good surface for a desk! I’m thinking about sanding and repainting it. Does anyone know the PMS (or other) for the WE colour called parchment? Thanks.
