fruit set in heat; tomatoes vs peppers vs eggplants

Of course, it's well understood that tomatoes shut down pollination in high heat (especially very warm evenings), but in my experience it isn't that clear about peppers and eggplant. All solonaceae, so one might think they'd behave similarly. My experience with peppers and eggplants have been mixed. Is there good evidence that fruit set gets reduced in those when the heat turns on? Is that reduction as serious as with tomatoes?
