They look fine. Don't cut any more off. Thoroughly spray for spider mites as these insects will remove any new growth as it starts to grow and will overwhelm the trees. My question of importance is, does you husband have to compete against your 3 trees. He might feel insecure. My husband is threatened by my trees. Stephanie

I got my Meyer lemon, clementine, kumquats from Home Depot and Lowe's in Chicago area. I saw they also have lime and other citrus tree as well. All potted, dwarf, Flowering size, reasonable cost. In later fall, you can also see some friuts hanging on the trees too. You might want to check with the store manager to see when the plants will be in the store. I remember seeing them in the summer time when the weather is definitely warm.

Hey Mike, now you see my problem! I bought 4 citrus trees in the past month! One was only $8 cheaper, but now they are having a huge BOGO sale, and the trees are 3ft, some are 4ft and to pay $32 for 2!!! I think they have clementine's too, and they do have navels, just not the seedless Washington like I want. Many of them have golf ball sized fruits too! That's where I bought my Tango tree. If they they still have them in a few weeks, I may get 2. The other sale was really good also! It was a Lowe's but they only had Bears limes, and Improved Meyer lemon trees. They are nice foot tall and wide trees. They were priced at $17.99 and went on sale for $5! I also got another Basjoo banana tree, which was really cool because I wanted to plant one in my backyard.Just go and buy one Mike! You know your going to kick yourself in the pants if you don't! I will make sure I post here if I do end up buy in the BOGO trees! Andrew

Hello Claire, I can give you a littl e bit of advice as I am growing a dwarf keylime and a dwarf moro blood orange. I went to Walmart and bought Organic Miracle Gro potting soil but unfortunetly it is not available on there website to purchase directly. They will tell you to enter your address and they will give you stores in your area that carry it. Logees greenhouses sell organic citrus fertilizer in a box. There address is logeesgreenhouses.com I think. Just google Logees and they can help you. I have tried the three more pop. tropical fruit nurseries here and none of them have it. I bought my citrus last year and they are growing like crazy. I really think the soil works well. Most of the growers down south will tell you to stay away from the Miracle Grow but my trees have grown by leaps and bounds. My keylime has doubled in size and I have only had it for 7 months. The keylime has flowered twice now. No fruit but I want it to grow more. The moro blood orange is also growing fast also. I am very pleased with Oganic Miracle Grow potting soil. Andrew
