Clumps and multiples on Wednesday
Comments (17)Julia - Coral Majority seems darker in color this year. I'm not sure if it was because of the cool nights and hot days or what caused it. Willow Dean Smith's color is both calming and cooling in this sweltering weather. Chris and Jean - WDS is quite the beauty. I'm really glad I added it! Dean - The eyes on both TBE and WLL are excellent. WLL has never reached the registered scape height or had the bud count the hybridizer got, but I think it's a bright, cheerful addition to the garden. By the way, WLL was misregistered as a tet. It's really a dip. I spent years crossing it to tets to no avail. Then I noticed the hybridizer had registered a 2010 cultivar, W. Flowering Spooks, a dip with WLL as the parent. Comments (15)You know I've asked aout Charmed Existence before....and you know I love that one...but THIS photo just took the love to a different level. WOW!!!! That photo has me speechless. Gorgeous, gorgeous Charmed Existence, you are killing me! I also think Frozen Margarita is my kind of daylily. I love that form it has and the color, and well...everything about it! It looks very impressive in a clump. The others are ravishing too. I hope your photos never end. (of course they will eventually, but I don't want that). They are wonderful. Comments (12)Thanks all. There certainly were plenty of weeds in these photos. Wish I could find a way to weed free. Chris - Gilded Knight is one of those highly underrated daylilies. Connie - Wisest of Wizards all puts on a good show, and ususally reblooms here. Kathy - The photo of Media Frenzy was taken at the end of the day. It starts out a darker color. The registration calls it plum rose. It clumps up really fast. Debra...See MoreIf it’s Wednesday, it must be clump day
Comments (18)I'm with Debra on Pistachio Eyes. Like its frilly round form........... Although I'm not much on off white daylilies with eyes (they remind me too often of my old Pandora's Box), Thomas Tew never fails to make me look. Great shot of it doing its thing. Golden Globe also merits my attention. Everything is doing so well for you................Maryl...See Moretarheelgirl_7b
