Attention KMart shoppers! (Janice? McTavish?)
Comments (6)I am that way as well. Springfield MO. really isn't that far from here, and I have heard they have nice Hosta nurseries, but I am afraid of getting lost there. plus one time when I went up with hubby I about fell out of the car screaming at a bunch of girls that were flipping us off, cause we was trying to find a place to pull in as we had a screaming baby in the backseat that needed to be out of his seat for a diaper change, never seen myself get so worked up! But you combine a screaming child with nervewracking traffic (for me anyway) it is enough to make a sane person crazy:) So I am thinking I don't need to be driving around lost in that town, my luck I would run into those girls again, lol!!! I actually got lost in St.Louis, and for a country bumpkin like me that was real bad. I have no sense of direction:( Travis was at a race and I was so afraid he was going to get back and find me gone and just have a meltdown on me. I finally found a gas station attendtant that gave me perfect directions to get back to the hotel, Whew! So I am not very adventurous when it comes to driving, had a wreck one time just because I was lost and didn't see a stop sign so I stick to what I know:)...See MoreJanice, No Garden Pics????
Comments (1)Janice is getting ready to move, so she's doing a lot of digging. There was a post from her a while back. Here is a link that might be useful: Janice's moving thread This post was edited by thisismelissa on Fri, Jul 5, 13 at 13:56...See MoreUPDATE: Theme Garden Swap, Update 2
Comments (109)It'll be neat to see what seeds come in! I know I'm going to love some of them! (That insider trading thing, you know). I will probably order a couple of things after I see what comes back, so if anyone wants to try to do a group order, I'm open to that idea (I haven't tried it before, but saving on the seed company's shipping fee would be nice) I went to a garden show last weekend, put on by the master gardeners in the adjacent county. I got seeds! They had a seed swap, and I folded up some &%#@$% paper envelopes (the rules said "no plastic." grr) I'm glad I did, as I got some neat stuff. I now have a ton of yellow tithonia, so if you notice this, Drippy, you can strike that from my list! (or just send it, I'll pass it on). I got Hungarian Daisy, which I'd never heard of, but I'm glad I grabbed it. Sunset Echinacea--does that grow true? Does anybody know? I brought some wintersowing propaganda along too, so at the seed swap table, when people started saying "poppies are so hard to start from seed..." I had my brochures ready to go! It was really nice to go to a garden-related event at this time of year, even though I have wintersowing going on too. I hope everyone is staying warm, especially you, Drippy, with your hands out of your pockets, sorting seeds!...See MoreJanice's inspiring garden photos?
Comments (2)Corrine, you might search for Hey_J (or that might be a small J). She comes the closest to what you describe that I can identify. You can use google to do a thorough search. Put hosta, gardenweb and hey_j as your search terms and you should find what you're looking for. Someone else may give you a better lead. bk...See MoreSuzi AKA DesertDance So CA Zone 9b
