I love Tide Ultra stain release and Tide with bleach alternative. I use both of them on my husband's work clothes. It gets out 90-100% of the grease and oil he gets on him from the oil refineries. That's no small feat; those stains are tough.

I just noticed the Ultra only has one enzyme and the non Ultra has none....that can't be right.

Isn't this the old stain booster that came in the bottle? I don't think this is the correct info.

P&G doesn't seem to have the ingredient sheet posted for the original Ultra Stain Release variant right now. It looks like they've done a lot of reformulating lately. There are new PID (product in development) sheets for Downy, Cheer Free, as well as multiple Era, Gain and Tide formulas; including Tide cold water free-I wonder if this will be re-released to the US market?

I got it from the Tide ingredient sheet on the Tide website. I'll look again when I get home.

I had stopped using my regular Tide Pods and tried Persil Sensitive (white) for the past month with good results. I wonder how these new Tide Ultra Stain Release (white) Pods would compare to the Persil Sensitive.

I would expect these to perform better than both the regular Tide Pods and Persil Sensitive.

Hi Pat! Yes, I do. It's among the best performing liquids available. I've used it on my own laundry and it works just as well as the regular Stain Release liquid.

littlegreeny, I'm sorry to bug you again about this but I'm trying to figure something out. I want to know if you like Tide Ultra Stain Release FREE as well or better than Tide Free & Gentle. Please also say if Darwin and your husband find the TUSRFree as non-irritating as the TF&G. Does the sodium lauryl sulfate in TUSRFree bother anyone? I personally avoid it like the plague and can't tell if it bothers me enough that I should stick to ALL Free & Clear. I love not having the pre-treat stains but if I have to go back to ALL Free, I will.

Sorry, I missed this post. It’s been a little while since I tried the TUSR but when I did use it, it caused absolutely no irritation. If anyone in our house has sensitive skin, it’s me.

My current lineup consists of ALL Plus F&C from Costco for most laundry; ALL Free powder for heavy duty loads (not sure if you’ve tried this yet but I highly recommend); Tide F&G pods for heavily stained items like dish towels and napkins; and Tide Purclean Free for sheets and underwear.

I‘m considering using ALL powder for more loads but have a big bottle of the ALL from Costco to get through first. I’d also like to try a more natural alternative and maybe Tide Free powder to see how it compares to ALL powder.

Greeny, thank you and welcome back. I will wait to find out if you like Tide Free powder better than ALL Free powder, hoping you will post your findings. Both my husband and I spill food on our shirts almost all the time (such slobs, no?) and I do not like treating stains, so I will be interested in whether you think anything is better than the pods for that purpose.
