echeveria agavoides?
Comments (2)It's hard to say from the photo, which is a little dark. There are several cultivars of E. agavoides - I think Yale's is the standard. The thing that makes agavoides different from other Echeverias (IMHO) is the "hardness" of the leaves. I grow E. agavoides cv. 'Lipstick'... ...and I used to grow the standard agavoides... They're great, hardy plants! Denise in Omaha...See MoreEcheveria agavoides question
Comments (8)Bikerdoc - that is more what I expected for E. agavoides. I guess the search is on to identify this plant. Do you think those are inflos, or offsets? I'll probably let them be in either case. This is a NOID "succulent" that I picked up at a BBS looks more like your plant, so maybe I do have an E. agavoides after all. Comments (2)It is unfortunate your plant got sunburned. While it looks nasty, the meristem, the central growing portion, looks great. The other unfortunate thing is this is a very slow grower and will take some time to recover... and it will recover. Having said this and your recent bout with the sun, this plant will look its best with full sun; just acclimate it slowly into a full sun situation. Depending where you live, mid-day sun may be a bit too much....See MoreEcheverias in the garden
