Any way to convince a 'broody' hen to brood?

I've got a beautiful blue laced Wyandotte. I used to have two hens, but one who was a great broody got killed by a predator. The other one, isn't such a great broody. She was on the 'decoy' eggs, then she was off them. Then once I decided to move the chickens out to another location, she was broody on the nest at night. Now, she's letting them chill again. I've got about a month for her to set before I have to give up and prepare the premises for the arrival of some turkey poults. Other than threatening her with being eaten, do broodies ever 'change their ways' and actually start setting on a nest? Can they 'learn' to be better mothers or is this one a 'dumb cluck'?
