Grape problems

Tracy

Last year I purchased this house and it came with a lovely grape arbor in the back. I know nothing about grapes, how to grow them, or how to treat them. Last year, in the time it took for us to look at the house to decide to purchase to a month later moving in the grapes went from beautiful to shriveled, and the leaves looked pretty bad. This year I did prune, a little late, but they don't seem at all worse for wear. But now there are spots on the leaves. My best guess, based on the little bit of reading I've done, is black rot, but only because it's so common. I'm not even sure where to begin to help them. Primarily this is for shade above an outside table, but I think I'd like to do something with the grapes later too if possible. Even if it's just jelly. Can someone help me identify the grapes, their disease, and how to fix it? Thanks! Oh, I'm in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
