Dry ice in 50qt styrofoam cooler...Questions

Hello I'm wanting to keep my styrofoam cooler for reg ice only. Ive v read 20 lbs should be sufficient but I'm wondering where I should put the dry ice (bottom, middle, top?) And do i need to wrap it in newspaper. We will be camping for 48 hrs. Only ice will be kept in this cooler. Thanks guys
