Quick, need AVG license help
Comments (9)Well I would delete the download you have for AVG, then use the link Randy provides above. Scroll down the page to the orange writing and download a fresh install of the free version. Then visit and download Crap Cleaner Then I would remove my internet connection so I am not vulnerable (been caught on that twice myself, grr). Then close your current AVG, use Windows Explorer and go to C:\Program Files\Grisoft, delete the contents then the folder. Now run Crap Cleaner to remove all remnants left on the computer. Install the AVG program. Connect to the internet and look for updates. It should show as the last 3 days, I am not running ot now so cannot give you the exact date....See MoreI Want a Handyman I Think

Comments (3)It's a state by state thing, but most places will require some sort of license. In many cases there are two licenses. A contractor meets certain requirements to offer his services to the others. A electrician has a license to work in the field (either for a contractor or just as an employee of a builder or some organization). Some states like Texas allow licensed electricians to contract for themselves. Most (at least in states I've worked), license them both. Good sruvey of state laws on this here: http://www.necanet.org/professional-development/careers-in-electrical-contracting/licensure/state-code-licensing-requirements/state-electrical-regulations...See Morerecessed lights... do I need a licensed electrician?
Comments (5)There are many important issues here to consider (1) Thermo protection that will shut the power off if the wrong bulb is installed. (2) Will the recessed lights be installed with attic insulation covering them? (3) Where will the power to feed the recessed light or lights come from? (4) How many recessed lights total will be installed? (5) How will the recessed light or lights be switched? (6) Is there circuit breaker space available if required? If you understand these terms and know what line, load aka switch leg, neutral and ground wires are and their uses and you are the homeowner and feel that this is something you can tackle, the job good luck and be safe. If beyond your skill level than take 3 bids from qualified personnel with references. A tip here is never mix lighting with outlets. Even though the NEC (National Electric Code) is the bare minimum required for general purpose circuit breakers like this example it is not a wise idea. If you knock a circuit breaker off from fault or overload that has outlets and light fixtures attached to it then you also will be knocking your lights off. A better idea is to have dedicated lighting circuit breakers and dedicated outlet circuit breakers not mixed together. You can always go above code with quality craftsmanship and materials but you can not and should not ever go below any local electrical codes in your area. www.dbelectric.us...See MoreUser
