In the early spring, my neighbor hired me to clean up about an acre of property around his house. The lawn wasn't treated like a lawn since 2008, only to be cut about twice a year, and for the past 4-5 years it wasn't cut at all. Most of it was what appeared to be high grass with a bit of brush mixed in, so I cleared it with a strong trimmer, raked, then mowed with a lawn mower. Anyway, nothing came up until about 3 weeks ago, and most of the lawn is this one kind of plant I can't identify. It works, because it grows like grass and the owner doesn't use the lawn, but I'm unsure how it will handle constant mowing and/or summer stress. This property is in a lot of shade, and in Southeastern PA. I also see this grow in the woods, and the picture is actually on my property in the woods
