Pros: Help me pick dining chair color/ type?

So eventually we are going for a small farm table here. Also the sofa will be replaced with a dark charcoal grey mid-century one.

Going to have a simple bare bulb chandelier here. Just a cluster of bulbs hanging.

Right now we have this hand-me-down table and chairs that we brought with us to our new home. Not a huge fan of them.

I'm thinking more modern chairs and am open to fun colors/ plastic modern chairs etc. I am leaning hard towards a fun color for the space. If so, I will take out the yellow cushions and put a better matching cushion for the space.

The blue door on the left will be replaced by a sky blue rustic sliding barn door. Kitchen is modern black and white. With grass green accents in rug and towel. Lots of grass green accents in all the plants we have too. But I think of green here more as a neutral.

would dark red chairs look good? We have a red chair outside and a red lamp. Too much red then? The patio colors really get incorporated into the room because of the layout. Or just regular wood color chairs? Need some pros here! :D

I attached pics of the regular wood chairs we have. Then switched them out for some folding chairs we have in orange. Not saying I want folding orange dining chairs but just put them in as place holders for a bold color/ slightly lower down more modern looking chair just to see how a different color/ style would play out here.

Anyway, what color style would work here?
