I don't have any of those Model Numbers but I do have Linksys EA6400 AC1600. The setup is very easy and adding devices, you only need know the SSID and the Password.

Not sure about the Routers you're looking at (Dual-Band) but mine has the ability to set up a Guest Network on the same router (again very easy). When Guests come I give them the Password for the Guest Network, this way their not able to access my Computers/Tablets/Phones on my In-Home Network (for family living here).

I've had mine since August 2, 2015 and I've had 0 Problems. I was replacing a Linksys WRT54g Router that finally wore out after many years of faithful service.

Look those up on Amazon and form your opinion based on dozens or hundreds of reviews, rather than a few anecdotal responses here...

DLink DWA 125 isn't a router, it's a USB Wifi dongle. Must be a different model designation you're thinking of, maybe look at the bottom of the unit if it doesn't show on top.

luis, most routers work fine. If your home isn't too demanding for a wifi signal (ie, no concrete interior walls, not too large), likely any low to midrange router will fill the bill. Try Walmart, where you can return purchases without too much trouble. With a "average" home setting, you should be able to find something for under $50.

I have used a few Asus wifi routers... current one given to me is RT-AC87U.. = about AC2350 I think. All are about same for the basic pages for setup. Automatic setup usually have about three choices. Pretty self explanatory. Asus is famous for lots of configuration options, quite a bit more so than most other consumer routers.

Netgear Nitehawks are highly rated by the geeky sites and apparently pretty good stuff. Very Popular.

Linksys has kind of fallen from being on top of the popularity lists but still is good middle ground solid reliable stuff.

Computers, phones , everything wi-fi should just automatically connect to any router - provided you know the wifi passphrase and name of your router connection.. Network cabled stuff should just work.

You kind of puzzle me with your choices though... those numbers denote different wifi connection speed classes. AC1200 up to AC2600. If you use networking or router attached storage, the bigger numbers are faster - for Transferring data or files between devices or if multiple devices too.

I have the Netgear AC2350 Nighthawk. It was pretty much plug n play. Works great.

I also have the Netgear Highthawk. And, as jrb said, just hooked it up and it did everything else. It improved our access in other rooms and no more signal drops in the other rooms. Also, there is no interference from neighbors' wirelesses (don't know if I am really saying that correctly).

Your right my D-Link is a Dongle my Modem is at my main PC and runs my home network, but needed a dongle for the desktop PC farther from modem.

Forgot to say, we even use laptops outside and have no problems. We truly are big believers in Netgear. The Nighthawk is stupendous for a home network.

I use TPLINK. Almost all wireless routers offer a step-by-step wizard for you to set up the network. A router's wireless speed should be the main concern, I think.
