they grow quite well under trees---I planted a clump at my mothers years ago at the base of a tree---gets the full morning sun. To make it even better, its a black walnut tree, and there are also peonies, primrose, a rose bush among others growning in the garden there.

It is my understanding that it is better to plant garlic naked. I draw this impression from several sources, including Gourmet Garlic Gardens: "Garlic is subject to fungal diseases and pest infestations that can be virtually undetectable until they strike. Prevention is the best way to deal with them. In our experience, garlic that is soaked in certain solutions and with the clove covers peeled off have a better chance of growing free of pathogen or pest. "...Soak each varieties cloves in water containing one heaping tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and liquid seaweed to protect them from fungus as well as give them an energy boost. Leave the cloves in the soda water for a couple of hours or long enough for the cloves to slip easily out of their covers. Garlics clove covers can contain fungal spores, or conidia or the eggs of pests such as mites and are best discarded rather than planted since the first thing the cloves do is to shed them, anyway. The baking soda helps neutralize the fungi. "The bare cloves should then be soaked in rubbing alcohol or 140 proof vodka for three or four minutes and then planted immediately. The alcohol kills pathogens or pest eggs the first soaking missed. Every time I have done this, the treated garlic turned out better than the untreated control group. Alcohols are on the National Organic Program accepted list and baking soda is accepted under part 205.605."

I would do either of two things. Stake it to remain upright, or, next spring cut the top off about 16" or so below the tip and root that as a cutting. The lower portion I would leave in the pot and it will grow new branches. If that will still leave the bottom portion too long, you can cut it down some more to prevent it being top heavy again. So, you will have two plumeria. If you cut it into two, you will not have blooms for at least one year. If you stake it, you may get blooms next year, but the plant will still be very top heavy. I think, because that painting is so large and you still have so much space to "fill", it's going to be hard to do a gallery wall with pieces that won't be dwarfed by the existing piece and that coordinate nicely with it. Or, if you get more large pieces, it could become overwhelming. But it can be done! Is there another place in the room you could hang that one and find a grouping for over the sectional? I found these ideas for arrangements on walls behind a large sectional.. Maybe adding some simple shelves (don't overdecorate them) along with more art might work (if you picture your painting as the window here:
