Have you considered shades for the bathroom? Bali Blinds offers "dual shades" where you can combine solar and/or roller shades for both light control and privacy. This would give the privacy you need without making the room so dark that it's like a crypt. Top it with a pretty valence. Bali has a great website with a free mobile app for selecting swatches, a "My Decorator" tool that lets your select your wall color, floor color, furniture color, etc. with the swatch that you are considering. If you are of my "vintage" you remember the roller shades in the public schools. These are a whole different animal. Don't be afraid of the roller shades. Check them out at www.baliblinds.com

You can call a window company that does repairs or do an internet search for the part. There are companies that just sell parts for windows. Ron

well we know your windows were built in January of 1998 and the size is 34 1/2 x 58....still nothing.

Once we start talking about 20 year old wood windows, the options for "restoration" start shrinking. A newer window, with Low-e, will provided a measure of fading protection that was lacking in the clear glass option. Keep in mind that visible light (as a smart friend once told me - i.e. Oberon) does still cause fading. Depending on how they count the number of units, the price will reflect what the unit total is as we count units. Transoms are typically counted as separate units. If the frames and trim are in good shape, an insert will probably be your most cost effective option. Do you want to keep the wood interior or are you okay with other materials? In the family of vinyl products, there are far better options than what you have seen so far.
