Paint color

We are finishing our basement and I need to choose a paint color. That is always been one of the worst decisions for me to make. I put a swatch of SW amazing gray on the walls because it looks like the perfect beige/gray in our upstairs but down in the basement it looks almost totally gray, so I'm not going to go with that. I want the paint to be more beige in the basement as it's going to be masculine and will go with most of the decor. There's not too much light down there, but that is OK because it's a man cave after all LOL. The two colors I have samples of are SW pavilion beige and diverse beige. There is a slight difference between them but I am wondering what posters thoughts are on either of these colors in a basement where the lighting is only one window and a set of French doors. I don't want a very dark color but I don't want it to be too light either as I want it to be warm and masculine down there. I don't want to do what I did when we were painting our upstairs either, I had like 20 swatches on the wall and drove myself crazy. I'd like to keep it to a minimum to pick from. Trying to stay away from any beige that will pull pink. Thank you :-)
