If Delta is outa your price range you probably don't need to be here asking what is supercalifragilistic. You need to just just head over the the big box home center and take home whatever they have in stock that fits your aesthetic sensibility or shelving the project for now. Kohler has one of the largest and broadest product ranges of any plumbing co. and if you can't find something you like from them - I'd wager you're one of those people that simply need a reality check. Listen, I'm not berating you here, I'm simply getting the sense that you are simply being too particular for what's available in the real world within your budget.

1930s brick home in NYC. I would do tile wainscoting. But the board and batten type you showed would be stunning as well. I have 9 bathrooms in my house. Most are just painted. We did wainscoting in two. One is porcelain tile that looks like marble with a Carrera mosaic boarder on the top. The other is bead board. But we are in an Oceanside town north of Boston. The bead board thing works here.

Is it possible to change the doorway going into the bathroom to that smaller side wall so you're facing the tub when entering, and not the toilet? Or do you have room at the bottom of hte stairs to put a door on that wall so it's closer to the laundry? I'd put sliding doors over the laundry so you're not looking at it while using the tub, but give yourself as much space as possible inside the laundry area so you can install a hanging rod and have some countertop space. You could also consider using stacking appliances.

Hi guys; I have a small half bath (36" wide x 81" long) that has the existing built-in cabinet and sink facing the toilet.This is the original cabinet and sink and I'm wanting to rip it out and replace with new freestanding vanity.I'm also going to do beadboard half up the walls and replace the floor.Where I need help is in trying to decide if a 24" or 30" vanity is appropriate for the 36" wide space?
