Comments (5)I have just written an article on Bryophytes for my website and am looking for some feedback if possible. I am by no means a Bryophyte expert so I'm keen mostly to double check that my information is correct and also if there is anything important that I should add. No worries if you don't have time to check it out, but for anyone who does, I appreciate any comments! Comments (9)WOW!!!!!! I just spent a hour looking at part of this Paul Owens web site. its really great.Real beauty. The whole time I was looking at it, I was thinking boy, how I wish I was young again and knew about daylilies.I would have beauties like this too, but, am now too old for this sort of thing and too many problems with the body. But, he certainly has a beautiful place, have to look at where its at,I didn't look to see where his place is at.I didn't even know what a daylily was until about 6 years ago, when a daughter gave me a few (Ditch lilies) she had that I thought wa so pretty, Sinc e then I learned the difference between good daylilies and the ditch lilies. Thank you Julia for posting this site. His sunflowers are another very pretty flower I like to grow too. Cant grow everything you want to grow here for the deer. and they love flowers or all kinds, and seem to have a favorite one, which is daylilies. jean...See More'in private browsing'
Comments (2)Are you referring to "private Browsing" in Firefox? Private Browsing does not provide additional protection against viruses, etc. It simply prevents information from being recorded on your computer. It does not make you anonymous on the Internet. Basically it means that other people in your household can't review what sites you've been surfing....See MoreBrowsing for Bargains....
Comments (18)Craigslist has already been mentioned, but I scored the deal of a lifetime (that cascaded into an entire kitchen remodel) there. Gorgeous, perfect condition stainless Thermador double ovens (top convection), 36" gas Thermador cooktop, and matching 36" Thermador hood. Just a few years old. For $700. For ALL OF IT. It came out of a really nice custom home with a gorgeous kitchen, but the woman was upgrading to Wolf appliances and just wanted them out. Bought a gorgeous 36" stainless farmhouse sink for $420 with free shipping from Amazon. Commercial style faucet with free shipping from Overstock. Cabinets from Cabinets to Go--we've been very happy with that choice, and our contractor friend was impressed with the product. About the same price as Ikea, but he said the Cabinets to Go were WAY easier to assemble, and they feature 100% plywood construction, full extension drawers, dovetail drawer construction, soft close. We're doing our kitchen in phases, but all of our cabinets in the end will cost $5176. And, of course, you can't beat sweat equity for saving some money. We're doing as much as possible ourselves--cabinet install, appliance install, painting, drywall patching, tiling the backsplash, etc. We're only bringing in professionals where we don't have the right skill set or tools: plumber, electrician, stone fabricator. And I seriously considered doing the stone myself for a while. I feel very capable after building a brick wood-fired oven and outdoor kitchen in my backyard. Girl power! ;-) Here is a link that might be useful: A few in-progress pics of our DIY kitchen remodel...See MoreRelated Professionals
