I have been chasing battery charge issue for 2 years. Mower will only
crank and start when battery is fully charged. If battery drops to 12V
or less, wont crank. I get 12.3V when mower off, 13.4V when running
mower at full throttle. I get 31 VAC from alternator at full throtle. Have replaced regulator coz it was cheap and
easy. Solenoid is hard to get to but have new unit on hand. ANy
thoughts? If there an existing thread, please point me to it. Thanks.
One last note: when battery loses charge when mowing and you turn off
deck, cant turn deck back on until you charge battery.
